Is duck tape not enough to keep your backpack in one piece? Or does the content of your rucksack get wet when it's raining? To solve these problems we offer some backpack equipment and spare parts. There are some rain covers, utility straps, and other components and accessories. As usual, also backpack replacement parts are sold as brand new and military surplus. If you are planning a hike for longer than a few days, we can highly recommend taking spare parts and straps even if you feel like you don't need them at the beginning of your trip. Because if shit hits the fan and you wreck your backpack or other vitally important equipment in the middle of the woods, you'll thank yourself for preparing.

Try a daypack as the lid for your backpack

We encourage you to try to make a Särmä daypack into a lid of your big backpack. This trick works with many other brand's backpacks as well, so you can try it with your favorite one. It's useful when you are backpacking for a long time and take separate day trips where you only need a small daypack.
