Despite my added bulk it worked exceptionally well thanks to the compact core design of the pack, it carried everything I needed and more, sitting on top of a LW-18 chest rig, weighed down by my ~8lb rifle, and I had no problem hiking with the rifle slung neatly to the left side of the pack. Even though it wasn't necessary I actually wore the pack on 6 of the 9 stages (nobody else did this because it wasn't really the point of the match), I was using a 2-point Vickers style sling while shooting and the pack absolutely never got in the way while on the clock, my DIY shoulder and sternum straps held it tight and the pack felt like an extension of the body, I should mention I was using the Savotta foam stiffener pad. When I did take the pack off to remove an item or rest I made sure not to treat it too kindly on the rocky, dirty, thorny ground, obviously this is only the first test, but clearly this pack is built to be used and used and used.
4.5 recon troopers out of 5, I had to slice one in half because the attachment points within the main compartment are kind of lackluster, it would be really cool if there were some more webbing loops around the inner back panel of the compartment.

Purchased with padded straps and sternum strap, which I highly recommend for comfort and keeping pack from shifting.
Carrying capacity is quite impressive but is, by definition, small: if you intend to carry a lot of gear move up to CP15.
I chose this for light day-hiking so that I wouldn’t overpack and bring ‘everything but the kitchen sink’. **
MOLLE does allow pocket attachment (handy for specific purposes) but would suggest keeping pack uncluttered as a usual practice; get a larger bag if you regularly need to carry more gear. I am currently working on a MOLLE sheath for a Skrama 200 which should strap on to side of CP10 unobtrusively.
* I did not actually test for this. It’s just an expression, I think… your results may vary.
** I openly acknowledge that, sometimes, I am, literally , “not carrying my fair share’’ but several of my hiking companions are major gear-heads and ALWAYS overpack for day hikes. I always offer to bring shared gear (stove, pots, tarp) but they like their toys and bring them anyway. I do not understand their masochistic tendencies but I support their choices.
