Särmä TST L1

The first layer of the Särmä TST clothing system is tasked with moisture management. A good next-to-skin base layer keeps you feeling comfortable in any conditions to do this it needs to be lightweight and effectively moisture wicking. We use a lightweight merino wool blend for our base layers, natural and very functional material for this purpose.

The L1 Balaclava protects your face from the wind and snow (while masking your identity of course). A remarkably handy thingy, for example, for cycling in winter or deer hunting on a windy field.

Särmä TST L2

The second layer of the Särmä TST clothing system, visible in the picture, system, wicks moisture forward from the base layer and gives moderate thermal insulation. The L2 can also be used as a next-to-skin layer which further adds to the flexibility of the system. Our mid-layer is made from a midweight merino wool blend, it is a bit more relaxed fitting and noticeably warmer than the base layer.

And if after all this, cold still creeps in, don't worry. You can still find merino wool gloves, socks, neckwarmers, and caps.

Mulesing free! All our merino wool products are made using mulesing-free certified merino wool, so you can use them with clean conscience.
