If you feel that our regular Merino Socks are a bit too much for your daily use, try these instead. The terry sole has been omitted for overall light construction and the leg is a bit shorter. Tight-fitting shoes that feel constricting with thicker socks will be just right with these.
When the winter comes along, you might want to layer your socks. Double socks prevent chafing and blisters more effectively than a single thick one and the inner should in these cases be lighter - like these!
Material and care
- Made of 62 % Merino wool, 36 % polyamide and 2 % elastane.
- 23.5 micron
Because of the wool content, these need one wash cycle before they fit perfectly. You can wash these at 40° C / 104° F and if you hang them to air after use, they don't need to be washed that often. Wool cycle and wool detergent recommended.
The socks will settle as you wear them and shrink in the first wash. This is already compensated in the sizing.
And yes, the wool is mulesing-free!

Our sock provider Sukkamestarit has joined the NATIVA™system, the purpose of which is to be able to trace the merino wool back to individual sheep farms. Because of this, you will also be able to find out where the wool for all our merino wool Särmä socks comes from.
From August 2020, the packages of new Särmä socks got a QR code that you can use to trace the source of the merino wool.

Nää toimii hyvin jalkaan, vaikka aina pesun jälkeen tuntuukin pieneltä. Mähän olen siitä aika hazardi jätkä näiden suhteen, että pesen 40-asteisessa konepesussa KUIVAUKSEN KANSSA. Varmasti ei hyvää tykkää, mutta jos nää kestää jatkuvaa rankutusta näin niin ei voi valittaa. Itseasiassa just nyt aattelin parin tai kaks tilata lisää, että kierto rauhottuis vähäsen. Nyt on silleen et pesun jälkeen puhtaat sukat jalkaan, työpäivä nämä + saapassukat jalassa ja sitte pesukoneeseen taas. Siviilissä pistän menemään M05 maiharit jalassa ja töissä hiton hiostavilla ESD-turvakengillä palloilen menemään; tuplasukat joka paikassa pakko.
Alla nämä ohkaset merinot ja päällä saapassukat. Toimii kuin se kuulusa junan vessa.
