If you insist on getting just one pair, here they are.
We chose to make a merino wool version as it allows sweat to pass through without soaking, is naturally resistant to stains and odors, and the insulation is just right in most environments. These are a piece of garment you will love to wear all year round - including the summer.
Features
The list is short but here goes: Flat seams and a simple fly, which is too rare nowadays. Elastic waistband. Snug and comfortable fit.
Material and care
The material is 100% mulesing-free merino wool, 190 g/m2 interlock knit. This material is familiar from Särmä merino leggings; practice has shown that it has good stretch and stretch-recovery properties.
Wash at 40 degrees Celsius (104 F), wool program. We recommend detergents specially made for wool, and wool care. Washing these is not necessary as often as with cotton or synthetics, because wool is naturally resistant to soiling, however being what they are, it's probably wise to wash them regularly.
Size info
In the bracket you'll find the recommended waist girth. If you wear pants below your belly, measure there. The material has a generous stretch. If you like a secure, tight "hug", it is safe to pick one size smaller.

It checks off all the Merino Wool boxes: comfortable, doesn't easily retain sweat odors, looks good. And with these particular boxers, a return to something that for some reason is vanishing more and more from men's underwear. I refer, of course, to the Dick Slit.
Let's face it, it's much easier to do your Urinary Duty when you don't have to pull your waistband down, or try to maneuver Mr. Happy down and out one of the legs of the underwear. I grew up at a time when all boxers and briefs came equipped with a Dick Slit, and I was afraid they were becoming a thing of the past. So, bonus points for this feature.
Merino Wool is expensive compared to cotton, but it's far superior. Buy once, cry once.
Or, do like I did and buy four at a time, and don't cry at all.
