Hunting boots for men and women

Hunting is a great hobby for pretty much everybody. Because the hobby is the same, also the footwear requirements are fairly similar for men and women. Therefore these can be considered both women’s and men’s hunting boots, as long as the fit and size are correct. Usually, you find our hunting boots black or brown. But sometimes we might have boots in camo and green as well.

Longer lifespan with proper care

Even if you buy the best hunting boots on the market, they might not last as long as you expect without regular maintenance. In case you like traditional leather hunting boots, you need to grease them to make them water-resistant. And your hunting boots with a membrane last longer if you use shoe care products specifically designed for them. In case you don’t have suitable stuff, check out our shoe care products.

If shoecare sounds like gobbledygook, read our comprehensive shoe care article. It contains valuable info on the care and maintenance of both hunting boots with a membrane and those without.

Cushioning insoles and good merino wool socks

Now matter how good hunting boots you have, your hunting trips might become quite painful without high-quality insoles. They are especially important if the soles of your boots are stiff and hard and your feet aren’t used to such. In winter use, it isn’t enough to have hunting boots that are insulated if you don’t also use warm insoles.

The icing on the cake is the merino wool hunting socks. Crappy socks slip and slide all over the place, causing blisters. And if the socks don’t stay where they should, your feet can get cold in the wintertime. When it is warmer, use thin merino wool socks. And when it gets colder, use thicker ones or put another pair on top. Have a look at our high-quality hunting socks. Take along a few pairs so that you can dry them when necessary. Turning them inside out like the underwear just isn’t enough.
