MERINO WOOL SOCKS

Merino wool socks are the best choice as hiking socks or outdoor socks. Merino wool is such an excellent material because the fabric is light, and it breathes well. Merino wool fits for warm and cold weather.

It's impressive but unbelievable that merino socks make your feet feel warm even when they're wet. So the question is: What can't merino wool socks do?

SELECTION

Besides the regular sock model our selection includes hiking socks, boot socks, knee socks and short socks.

As a very good base layer, we recommend Särmä Knee Socks. Thin fabric, which enables its use as the lowest layer on your footwear.

Also, after many many wishes, we produced a Särmä Short Merino Socks for summertime use. Sticks on your foot even without the high shaft.

WASHING

Washing socks happens in 40 degrees turned inside out. Merino wool has a habit of shrinking about 10% after the first wash. That is accounted for in the sizing, so choose your foot size without a worry.

Merino wool socks can also be maintained without washing. Especially on hikes and field washing machine isn't always in your reach so try drying and ventilating and they're ready for use again.
