Hiking boots

In this group, you find our hiking boots, the footwear that we recommend for rough outdoors adventures. This group has both high-cut hiking boots and mid-cut hiking boots. If you are looking for low-cut lightweight hiking shoes, check out these babies. You should choose your footwear according to where you hike. There are different boots for rocky roads and softer grounds. If you're only going on a one-day hike, you can do so in your old sneakers, but for longer hikes, we recommend you really choose boots that are meant for hiking.

Especially on longer hikes, well broken-in footwear might be the most important thing. If it says "Mil-Tec", do not wear it here. Instead, look for serious brands. We stock for example Jalas, Haix and Salomon, these are good.

Don’t try to find cute hiking boots that best fit your astral chakra. Instead, get a pair that feels good on your feet. These are usually unisex, so they are at the same time men’s hiking boots and women’s hiking boots, as long as the size and shape are ideal for your feet. We primarily have brown and black hiking boots, but there might be some other colors occasionally. These also fit bigger boys and girls. However, we don’t unfortunately normally have hiking boots for kids and toddlers.

Buy the best hiking boots that you can afford

The most important part of your hiking gear is without a doubt the boots. People who have tried to walk with crappy boots know why you need to look for the top hiking boots you can afford. Shitty shoes don’t last very long and your feet will die even quicker. Therefore, don’t go looking for the “cheap hiking boots”. It is better to save some money until you can buy something good. Your feet will thank you.

Pack a handful of good socks too and change them often. Your choice of socks is equally important for your feet- wool is the best, maybe in two layers to minimize the chance of getting blisters.

Waterproof hiking boots

Today the majority of hikers trust Gore-Tex hiking boots. And why the hell not. They are quite waterproof but at the same time, they also breathe. If you need to wade in muddy ditches, rubber boots are your best option. However, in difficult terrain and on longer hikes, your feet will start hating them and you.
