This insert is designed to fit double RK/AK magazine pouches and to carry the most basic first aid supplies. Also functions as an EDC medical organizer when carried in a backpack or bag. A simple insert that turns (almost) any old double mag pouch into a quick and easy to use medical pouch. These are sewn for us by Savotta in Estonia. Savotta is the contractor for all Finnish army tents and load bearing equipment, this gear is made exactly to Finnish military spec.

Fits perfectly in the large pocket of an SADF chest rig or in a SCAR-H double mag pouch. Perfect for a basic and well rounded IFAK.

Great idea, plenty of space, simple to use & using mine in a double mag pouch where it fits well. Carrying it in a WAS Falcon Chest Rig.
Have added an Israeli dressing in mine, along with an assortment of gauzes, pads, Compeed plasters, safety pins & tape. Handy for the small & big problems.
Very quick shipping to UK.

I got the insert several years ago. I switch the insert from my courier bag (Internal or external water bottle pocket) to my vest when needed and without the extra bulk of having 2 different style pouches. The elastic placement is better than ATS or TAC TAILER. And even cheaper to buy from my Finnish friends and shipped to the USA.

I had to take some time to determine what I thought about the insert but on the whole I love the idea. It fits in a standard AK magazine pouch or if you don't have that, any analogous magazine pouch taller than a STANAG. If you find yourself with plenty of magazine pouches but don't want a specialty medkit pouch, or perhaps you want a spare to keep on you in addition, this is a genius little insert. I love the fact that it fits in the pouches I already own. It has the sturdy construction that's become the industry standard and I like the blow-out aspect of it. But be aware that it won't fit everything you want out of a medkit, not all on it's own at least. I keep some standard supplies like combat gauze, sealed nitrile gloves, shears, the list goes on. It won't fit a TQ in it and trying to shove one beside it in a pouch would probably be a bad idea. I find myself carrying my TQ elsewhere. Not a huge deal, but some people might not like having pieces of their medkit separated. Overall I'm happy with the insert, I have already and will continue to recommend it to my friends, and I may buy another if I find myself in need of one.
