Large Pack - not as large as the name would imply, but definitely a "Pack". Just look at that beautiful shape! Developed in the early 1900s in Great Britain. these are some Danish army surplus from the Cold War era. A durable and cheap vintage pack! One-off lot!

As simple as can be: a rectangular pack with a flap secured with two straps. Carried with adjustable shoulder straps.

Made of indestructible canvas, and this is no joke: the company that made the stuff went bankrupt as there were no orders from the army - the gear just didn't wear out!

Measurements approx. 32 x 32 x 11 cm (12" x 12" x 5"). Fits everything you will ever need for the day.

As a free tip the canvas will suck up dye pretty well, and as a free warning, it might also shrink a bit in the washing machine. Another tip: the fabric can be waxed.

Genuine army surplus

Genuine Danish surplus and in excellent shape; we won't dare to sell these as unissued, but most of them are just that, or very lightly used.

Kinda disappointed this pack can’t fit 37 danishes in it like the title suggests. Maybe 28 if you squish them in there but you’ll get the filling all over the place. Oh well. It’s still a great pack. Plenty of room for some hiking essentials like canteen, cup, stove, med kit, crisp rye bread and hamcock. Super durable canvas and that great old school styling. If you’re a very large man, you may need to add longer straps. I’m 5’8”(172cm) and kinda fat(230lbs/104kg). The straps are all the way extended but I can still put it on and off while wearing an M65 with liner. Great pack! I hope they’re still in stock by the time I make my next order. I need at least one more.

Pätevän kokoinen, joten otin käyttöön läppärirepuksi. Solkikiinnikkeet vaativat kärsivällisyyttä vetoketjuun verrattuna, mutta tällä sitä voi harjoitella jos ei ennestään ole.

Kangas on hyvin jämäkkää, joten kyseessä ei ole mikään lerppa itäeurooppalainen plätky. Hihnat eivät ole kovin pitkät. Laitoin ne ääriasentoon, sillä seurauksella, että eivät pysyneet kunnolla olkapäillä (malli Ollila) . Tämä johtuu siitä, että hihnat ovat melko leveällä yläosastaan. Lyhentämällä ongelma poistui, joten eivät siis olleetkaan liian lyhyet.

Tämän repun takia saatan antaa anteeksi tanskalaisille, että ryöstivät Suomen useampaan kertaan. (Turun ryöstämisen kanssa olin sinut jo aikaisemmin.)

Hyvää:
+ Hemmetin tyylikäs. Niin tyylikäs että pää räjähtää entisellä hipsterillä. Lisäksi oma kappale täysin käyttämätön.
+ Paksu puuvillakangas, ei varmasti lähte purkautumaan ihan heti. Kestää vähän kosteuttakin!
+ Täydellisen kokoinen ja muotoinen. Sisään menee läppäri ja pari kirjaa, jää tilaa vielä muullekin tilpehöörille.
+ Kantokahva, jes!

Ei niin hyvää:
- Tilpehööristä puheenollen, kyllä edes yksi lisätasku/-osasto olisi hyvä. Nyt on vain yksi iso tila, sinne hukkuu jo lompakkokin. Kun on tottunut kiskomaan vesipullon/sateenvarjon/lapaset nopeasti esiin sivutaskusta, nyt joutuu käymään läpi koko avausoperaation joka kerta tai kantamaan erillistä käsilaukkua/kangaskassia olalla.
- Kapeaharteiselle naisihmiselle olkaimet eivät toimi. Villakankaisen talvitakin kanssa reppu pysyy jotenkin selässä, mutta kunhan kesä saa, voi joutua miettimään viritystä jos toistakin kuljettamiseen. Ellen ehdi myymään eteenpäin ennen sitä.

SUOSITTELEN em. varauksilla, jotka itselle ratkaisevia, jollekulle muulle todennäköisesti ei.

Pitää kyllä suositella! Todella hyvää ja kestävää materiaalia joka kestää kastuu ja kuivuu ihan itsekseen. Halusin läppään vielä velcro pohjaa jotta suomen lipun siihen kiinni saisin, ei ongelmaa sen kus vaan ompeli kiinni. Ainut huono asia mallissa on extra "taskun" puuttuminen joka johtaa pienten asioiden katoamiseen pohjalle, mutta tämäkin niin pieni ongelma ettei tähtiä pois lähde.
