Complete tableware for hiking in the wilderness or picnics in the backyard. This eight-piece largely bioplastic set includes plates, containers, a drinking cup, a spork, and a cutting board/sieve. Stackable and packable into one easy-to-carry piece; secured with a rubber band type of closure.

Features

This kit contains everything you need for transporting, containing, and eating your grub. You shouldn’t boil anything in these though because fire will turn plastic containers into abstract art.

The deep plate and the shallow plate transform into the container for all the other parts. The whole package is closed with a rubber contraption that suspiciously looks like string panties. The deep plate has a slot for holding the Spork Original BIO that is a spoon, fork, and a knife in one.

Furthermore, there are two SnapBox BIO containers that you can use for side dishes or store small gear that hates water in them. Included are also a foldable Pack-up-Cup BIO with a lid and a cutting board with a sieve.

Materials

The plates, boxes, the cutting board, and the top part of the drinking cup are 96% Bonsucro-, ISCC-, and PEFC-certified bioplastics made from sugarcane and wood fiber. The bottom part of the cup is 20% Bonsucro and ISCC-certified plastics made from sugarcane. The spork is 15% bioplastics made from GMO-free corn.

Mealkit complies with the requirements of the EU Plastic regulation. It is thus approved to be used for food/drinks and doesn’t contain any bamboo or other plant-based fibers that aren’t approved by the regulation.

Use

All parts except the Pack-up-Cup are microwave safe, so you can also camp in your living room with these. All parts are dishwasher safe.

Sizing

The measurements when packed together 194 mm/side (7.65”), height 61 mm (2.4”), and weight c. 390 grams (0.85 lbs). Volumes: deep plate 900 ml, shallow plate 500 ml, smaller box 170 ml, larger oval box 320 ml, drinking cup 260 ml, and the cutting board as much as your abilities allow to stack there.
