A simple metal spring hook for attaching straps and stuff. A great spare part or component for any DIY projects. These are Finnish army MILSPEC stuff, these hooks are used on various military straps, etc.
The strap loop is 25 mm (1") wide but can fit wider webbing straps also, they just fold up a bit.

I bought 2 of then (should have bout 4 a least) to use them to some sort of cheap quick attachment on my platform (took the chance as I was not sure if the hooks fit on the endplate sling slots-then narrow ones placed on the lateral sides of the plate, as I was not willing to buy another endplate and/or attachments).
It seem they work well as the hooks are flat not round so they can work.
As for the quality they appear stronger in real life than in the pictures, and a bit bigger to.
I would recommend them.

Itse koukku on aika lailla tuhoutumaton- siitä ei ole mitään pahaa sanottavaa, mutta hakasen kieli on ohut ja ikävä. Itsellä oli lukot olkalaukun kantohihnan päissä (laukussa kannossa yleensä keskimäärin 3-5kg kuormaa), ja valitettavan usein lukon kieli pääsi muljahtamaan sivukautta ulos, jolloin hihna ei pysynyt kiinni ja irtosi pienestäkin sivuttaisliikkeestä. Kevyempiin tarkoituksiin ja ei ainakaan minkään painavan ja/tai arvokkaan ripusteluun varmaan ihan jees, mutta ei todellakaan rankempaan käyttöön.
