Varusteleka Pre-Christmas Party DEC 2, 2022

Swiftly flow the days, and we are nearing the end of another year – it is time to enjoy the fruits of some hard work and reminisce about the past year’s exploits. There will be huge crowds of people to mingle with, share war stories, and have a couple of tasty drinks, in moderation of course. Although there is an old Finnish saying that goes "too much is too much, but moderation is too little."

Eat

In addition to socially interactive human flesh, Mike's diner will be there serving their legendary burgers (vegetarian and gluten-free options also available). Mike's will fire up the barbeque already at five and will continue until 23. Kuivalihakundi will make sure that you stay thirsty by offering some mouth-watering salty jerky snacks to the party people!

Drink

Kalja-Harri with his craft beer taps will make their first appearance at Sotima on this festive day. Come and taste the beers brewed in a humble barn deep in the Orimattila countryside. Of course, Bar Sotima is open as well to make sure no one is left thirsty.

Enjoy the Show

In addition to all the drinks and foods we have mentioned earlier, there will be an astounding display of noisy rock music by Cover Power. This Pre-Christmas experience will leave you shook. You have been warned!

Cover Power goes Hard 'n Heavy! Instead of some boring run-of-the-mill stuff, they will play lost classics from 1960s thru 1980s – the show will include two sets with numbers from Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, The Doors, and others. Lead vocals by Aleksi Ahokas and Stefan Granroth.

The Regular Pig VIP-package raffle

This year we have a very special treat for our Regular Pigs – ten of the luckiest ones will be given a VIP treatment, which includes food, drinks, and a tour through the holiest parts of our compound on the Pikkujoulut evening. You will get to peek behind the curtain and see what sort of wizards are pulling on the levers. Do note, that a prerequisite for participation in the raffle is being a Regular Pig! If you are not one yet, you can join the ranks here.
