You can choose over a tactical vest with all the cool toys and attachments or more toned down minimalist military combat vest, whichever is more to your liking.

We’ve come a long way material and modularity wise from the basic Chicom chest rigs but even to this day the basic principles remain the same with today's molle chest rig: light weight, ease of use and adaptability for the mission at hand. Chest rigs and combat vests can be used over the personal plate carrier or body armor or by themselves to maximize mobility and concealment.

Modern era military combat vests and tactical vests mostly use MOLLE PALS attachment system which is great since you can decide for yourself what kind of pouches you want to add.
