Camo needs depend on the type of hunting you do

When you’re hunting, the animals usually detect you based on a few things: motion, body shape, certain colors, your eyes, noise, and smell. Therefore you need to plan your camouflage based on the hunting format and the game animals you hunt. For example, colors don’t have much of an effect when you hunt moose or deer, but your silhouette and movement do especially on the ground. When hunting e.g. pigeons, all of these are very important. Beavers don’t see much but they have a very keen sense of smell.

What to camouflage and how?

There are many camouflage options and you usually get the best effect by combining these. You should pay attention to the whole picture and not forget to camouflage your face, hands, and gun. And in e.g. pigeon and duck hunting, your should also camouflage your position. Here a ghillie suit or a blind made of camo net is your friend.
