For decades, the patching, sealing, cleaning, and protecting of equipment and clothing was done with anything that said McNett on it. The company is now called Gear Aid but the idea is the same. The possibility to fix and maintain your stuff is awesome for two reasons: it could save you from a hairy situation in the field, and resisting cheap single-use junk is a sound ideology. Buy good pieces of kit to begin with and keep them in working order with Gear Aid!
