Get your battle belt setup in order! For those of you who need a load carrying system that is not on your torso, but rather on your hips and lower back, a battle belt is a good choice. A proper battle belt kit would consist of a battle belt, a sortiment of pouches as per mission requirements and personal preference, and possibly some sort of a harness or suspenders. Battle belts are popular in military sniper use, as the equipment carried on the belt can be better accessed while laying prone.

For all you competetive shooters out there, you already know the importance of a proper belt for your pistol holster and magazine pouches et cetera. A shooter’s belt should be rigid, and have a buckle you can trust. The belt usually has a hook and loop surface on the inside, so it can be used with an under belt. The under belt is worn through your belt loops, and it interlocks with the shooter’s or rigger’s belt on top. This way you have a belt system that will not move, sag, or come undone during any movement. If you need to wear your shooter’s belt on top of any clothing layers, you should consider belt padding for comfort and to avoid chafing of the layer fabric.
If you need a sturdy, bombproof duty belt without any frills, look no further, we have a few good choices for you here.
For re-enactment or, say, traditionalist purposes, this product group also has simple webbing belts to be used as bases for old school combat webbing systems. You might also need to take a look at some harnesses, if you are going down that road.
