US Combat Belt, Foliage Green, Surplus

Here we have an unissued and quite stiff utility belt for all kinds of action! It comes in good old Foliage Green and goes well especially with all things pistol – holsters, mag pouches, and such. Works great as an under belt for various combat webbings. This belt comes in various sizes, and they are a one-off lot!

Information

In order to have a deep understanding of this Foliage Green belt, we have to have a few words about good ol’ UCP. Universal Camouflage Pattern consists of pixel-like sand-colored, grey, and foliage green shapes and is meant to be a jack-of-all-trades in all terrains and environments. Whether it works or not is another matter entirely – it should be noted that the pattern has a nickname ICU or "I see you".

However, the pattern is by all means suitable for casual streetwear (maybe just because its effectiveness in military use is at least a bit suspect). Unless of course you wear the whole uniform. Which you probably shouldn’t.

If you’re into things like metro camo pants (look it up), UCP will – as the Finnish proverb goes – fit you like a fist in the eye.

And what do you know: We have UCP jackets in stock. If your size isn’t available, you can also easily DIY this thing into a cool vest with chest pockets. And if it’s hot outside, just leave it open like a proper rascal!

As for color schemes, this US issue belt is also a good pair with blue jeans – if the 80’s style denim operator is a look you want to go for.

This belt is quite stiff, and it is meant to be outfitted with various pieces of gear in suitable pouches. The inside of the belt has a fluffy loop base, so your inner belt, if you choose to wear one, should have a hook base on it.
