A Dutch military copy of the Carinthia Defence 4, probably the best surplus sleeping bag money can buy. This is the thicker, winter weight bag of the Dutch modular sleeping system, perfect for spring and autumn use. We wonder how anyone in their right mind would get rid of this kind of stuff for this cheap!
A very typical sleeping bag - opened with a tough zipper, and has a hood with drawcord tightening. However, the most intriguing feature is the integrated layered system: essentially two separate layers of stuffing, leaving some room for air between them. The bag feels pretty warm, but no hard data about temperatures is available. We suspect that this would still work on its own when the temperature drops a bit below freezing.
This can be used in conjunction with the summer model bag. The result is an extremely warm bag for freezing temperatures.
Made of thin nylon fabric, with polyester stuffing inside. Machine- or hand wash in 40 degrees. We suggest getting a liner bag and wash it instead, as frequent washing doesn't do good to the sleeping bag.
No compression sack included.
We have given approximate centimeter sizes (maximum height of the user) to go with the letters.
In used, but good serviceable condition and repaired if deemed necessary.
