These are the most popular used trousers we have. This is not too surprising, however, since these trousers are really good and dirt cheap. Genuine German army issue.

These trousers are successors of the classic Moleskin trousers, which were developed in West Germany. This model is still in use: these are sold as surplus to keep the German industry in motion by discarding useful items as part of regular rotation.

Like the older Moleskin trousers, these are rather simple and practical field trousers: zipper fly, about 3,5 cm wide belt loops and buttons for suspenders. The trousers have five pockets; two front pockets, one back pocket with a button and two cargo pockets, which are closed with two snap fasteners. The right side cargo pocket has a smaller pocket inside for a multitool, chocolate bar or whatever.

Materials used are 65% cotton and 35% polyester, 80/20% in some rare cases. We won't differentiate.

Size info

Sizes in waist / inseam (inseam is measured from the crotch to the end of the leg). For reference, see the Bundeswehr size chart here.

Condition

Used, but washed and in overall nice shape. Military trousers as they are, these might have some repairs. Pictured are typical pairs.

Erittäin mukavat housut makeella maastokuviolla ja vielä super halvat. Itse pitää käyttää vyötä sillä muuten putoaisi, muutenhan nämä ovat erittäin mukavat. Tarpeellisen kokoiset taskut mutta mietin että miksi vain yksi takatasku?

- hyvä hinta/laatu-suhde, vahvat, hyvä leikkaus = mukavat pitää
- lisää ikää noille polvien kohdille saa ompelemalla koneella niihin esim. nylon-paikat
- teillä oli joskus myynnissä vihreä "mikä lie" alusta tms. josta väsännyt polvipaikkojen lisäksi erilaisia pussukoitakin
- polviin suosittelen muutenkin jotain tuollaista; kestää nivelet tuulta yms. inhaa paremmin

Kyseiset housut olleet itselläni käytössä kohta kuusi vuotta, tuona aikana housuja on tullut käytettyä paikoissa johon muita housuja en edes veisi. Housut ovat käyneet siis usealla metsäretkellä ja airsoftreissulla (on siis pyöritty ryteikössä ja pöpelikössä armotta). Housut ovat kestäneet kunnioituksella koko ajan ja saumat ja muut kuluvat kohdat ovat selvinneet yllättävän hyvin aikojen saatossa, tietysti kuuden vuoden aikana lähes päivittäisessä käytössä voi olettaa että kulumaa tulee ja väri haalistuu.

"Markettihousuihin" verrattuna housut ovat kestäneet erittäin hyvin ja näin ollen voinkin suositella erittäin lämpimästi kyseisiä housuja vaikka päivittäiseen käyttöönkin. Housut ovat siis erittäin lujaa laatua ja viileämmälläkin kelillä toimivat hyvin sopivan aluskerraston kanssa, tuulta näistä housuista ei pääse läpi juuri ollenkaan.

Reisitaskut ovat sopivan kokoiset pienille tavaroille tai vaikkapa isommallekin lompakolle, sekaan mahtuu vielä muutakin krääsää. Vyölenkkejä housuista löytyy runsaasti joka ei tietenkään ole huono juttu, vyö istuu housuihin hyvin ja ei pääse vääntyilemään.

Voin suositella lämpimästi.

Amazing trousers, my pair has two small repairs (which even after a year have held up perfectly) but other than that they are really good shape. The pockets are amazing and I don't think I've ever used a pair of trousers that are even close to being as comfortable as these are. My only complaint is that one button popped off after about six months but after sewing it back on they're as good as new.

Nämä housut ovat kertakaikkisen täydelliset, enkä ymmärrä, miksi kaikki leikkivät, ettei niitä ole olemassakaan, vaan markkinoille syötetään kaikenlaista kuraa eikä Flectarnien kopioita. Leikkaus on täydellinen, materiaali on täydellistä (ei kahise, kanita tai mene rikki), housujen nappi on oikeinpäin, sepalus on vetoketjulla ja tunnetun historian suurimmat reisitaskut täydellisellä eli nepparikiinnityksellä.

Ainoa puute on, ettei näitä saa mustana, vaikka Flecktarn onkin oiva kuvio. Jossain vaiheessa vaan se musta olisi se Juttu. Tässäpä oiva tuotevinkki Varustelekan omaa mallistoa täydentämään - sinä päivänä, kun näitä saa mustana uustuotantona, tilaan heti vähintään viidet.

Minäkin pidän näistä housuista ja pidän myös saman sarjan parkasta, ovat kivannäköiset ja käytännölliset. Odottelen kovasti, että myyntiin tulee omaa kokoani olevat tällaiset housut, kun olen hieman lihonut, niin tarvitsen uudet, jotka ovat sopivan väljät, etteivät

I ordered two pairs of size 16. One was size 16-1, meaning it was huge compared to the pair that was just size 16, and the pair that did fit was missing the button above the zipper. Neither of these problems were a big deal to me and if I really need another pair that's size 16 I would still order from Varusteleka. They are definitely the best and cheapest place to get these trousers from online. Comfortable and affordable pants.

I love these trousers. I have never had such a good feeling accompanying getting dressed. They are soft yet supple, light yet substantial, and breathable yet warm. For the price, you cannot go wrong. Mine came in near perfect condition, with some minor pilling near the waistline. I will be ordering more.

Great trousers, comfy and great fit. Quite "zick" material as the Germans would say. If the British CS95 trousers are great for summer use, these are excellent for slightly colder conditions. Unlike the CS95 trousers, you will not win any fashion awards for wearing these. Flecktarn is great if you want to hide (check youtube for comparisons), but the pattern is butt ugly for city use. Sizing was more difficult than expected. My waist measures 100 cm, but actually size 95 waist was the best. 100 was too wide and resulted in too much extra material around my normal sized ass.

Comfortable and well cut, but unlike the old moleskins you can't wear a combat belt with them. If they had wider belt loops and were all cotton they would get five stars.

Little bit of fading on the knees but other than that they are in excellent condition, almost like new. Mine had extra buttons sewed on for ultimate wearing experience with suspenders.
Great fit, VERY comfortable, heavy duty material and the pattern works very well in the boreal forest!

A great piece of military surplus, the trousers fit perfect! I ordered a size 13 and it worked out good because if you wear a size 34x32 in a US size blue jeans you can’t go wrong.I highly recommend these trousers.The pair I received has elastic on the trouser cuffs, so no need to tuck them in your boots if you wear them that way.To all the employees at Varusteleka,great service as always! Great, I have 8 pair of these now. Some are a bit faded, but plenty of life left in them. All are pretty darn nice, but certainly not new. All very well worth the money and my new favorite pants for work or play. The fit is great for me and for $20 it is just easier to order these instead of going to a store for work pants. Plus they look pretty cool and the camo pattern is beyond effective here. If your American, expect your buddies to ask what the hell kind of camo your wearing. Just say "Flecktarn" and watch their confusion grow.

My pants came in awesome condition but I can't wear them. I ordered my size and these things won't even fit past my thighs. Be safe, and order bigger than you think you'll need.

I wear a US 34w- 34L blue jeans size. Ordered the same and they are just a tad tight in the thighs. Personally I prefer a slightly roomier cut. Would recomend going up one waist size. Otherwise these are fantastic for the price

Kyllä näistä on varmaan kaikki mahdollinen jo hehkutettu, mutta kokojutut on varmaan aina tervetulleita. En ostanut omiani täältä, mutta kuitenkin. Noin 94cm vyötärönympäryksellä ja 80cm lahkeella ostin koon 14 housut, eli vyötärö 95 ja lahje 85. Istuvuus on ihan helvetin hyvä, ja tarkoituksella valitut ylipitkät lahkeet ovat särmärien kanssa aivan täydelliset. Näitä ei kuitenkaan ole näemmä tarkoitettu pidettäväksi navan korkeudella, koon 14 kokonaispituus vyötäröltä lahkeeseen on n. 112cm, kun vaikka itävallan m75-pöksyjen kokonaispituus on n. 118cm samalla lahjepituudella. Hemmetin mukavat kuitenkin jalassa ja paksua kangasta.

Vyötärötaskut ovat ihan perushyvät ja sisäkangaskin kestävän oloista. Reisitaskut ovat tilavat mutta ei nyt liioitella. Sain sa-intin litran kenttäpullon mahtumaan reisitaskun suulta vain kaksin käsin äheltämällä, millinkin isompi niin olisivat saumat venähtäneet. Pienemmät pullot menevät sisään ranneliikkeellä.

Ryhdikkäät ja hyvin istuvat housut. Olen 195/95 tilasin kokoa 19 olevat housut ja niissä riittävän pitkät lahkeet.
Housut oli suht kauhtuneet ja useita paikkauksia,mutta työhommiin hyvät.

Got a 2012 in good condition, though there are some scratches and a missing button but it isnt that big of a problem. Price is very affordable compared to other stores.

Ostin näitä kahdet kappaleet; Yhdet maastohommiin ja toiset kaupunkielämään. Kaupunkielämään suunnatut värjäsin Nitorin mustalla tekstiilivärillä. Värjäys onnistui loistavasti johtuen todennäköisesti kankaan korkeasta puuvillapitoisuudesta. Lopputuloksena oli siistit, salonkikelpoiset tummat farkut, joissa etäinen häivähdys flektarnia. Kaiken lisäksi, "flektarn -farkkujeni" ero markettifarkkuihin on niiden parempi kestävyys, käytännöllisyys ja edullisuus.
