Orange headgear

In cooler weather, a knitted orange watch cap is a good option. For warmer days and for more active hunting, an orange hunting cap is better though. However, even when you move a lot, it is worth carrying a merino wool watch cap with you for longer breaks. And a balaclava keeps the small bloodsucking creatures away from your face. Orange blaze camo is very easy to spot by fellow hunters but e.g. deer don’t see it clearly.

Orange hunting jacket, vest, and pants

An orange vest is a cheap alternative for your upper body but an orange jacket is even better for visibility and comfort. And in the lousy weather, an orange rain poncho is a good alternative. If you really want to stand out, put on orange hunting pants as well.

Unarmed outdoor folks can also find some inspiration for their attire here. Orange is a damn good and very visible color when you are picking mushrooms and berries, or walking your dog!
