Features and Usage

It's not a bad idea to always have one of these on hand, for example, in your backpack, car, or boat, as you never know when the monsoon season might hit.

The most common use is as a poncho worn over all other clothing, but it can also be used to create simple rain shelters using the grommets found on the sides and corners. It's large enough to cover a medium-sized backpack, so you might not need a separate rain cover for your pack if you have the poncho with you.

The high-visibility orange variant is a bit of our own specialty; usually, these ponchos are only seen in forest colors. This high-vis version was originally designed for hunting, but it's also a smart choice for activities like walking or cycling in traffic during bad weather, changing a tire on the roadside at dusk, or just for outdoor use if you don't need to hide from people.

The poncho is packed into its own chest pocket by first pulling the pocket "inside out" and then stuffing it in there. There is a two-sided zipper.

Materials
