The USMC ILBE system dry bags are now available! This is the coyote brown "Assault Pack" one with 56 liters of volume. We previously sold a one-off lot but managed to find some more. "Sorry" about that.

Features

This works like dry bags in general: Put your stuff inside and close it. The handy feature here is an air valve - you keep it open while getting the air out of your bag.

I tried it today. When used as the instructions specify, it will keep water out and the gear inside afloat. Even when the bag goes under for a moment it stays watertight. Note: the interior / orange side is quite 'rubbery' / 'grippy'. I used a plastic liner (two trash bags) to better slide my gear in and out of the bag. I really like this design, and would definitely buy it again.
