US R&D Level 1 Silk Long Bottoms, Surplus, Medium Regular
A small one-off lot of US Army "silk" long johns. Essentially these are artificial silk bottoms: not as musty as a cotton garment, and helps regulating your body temperature, even cools you down a bit. These are best worn from just above freezing temperatures downwards.

We have no data about the exact material specs, but these are made of artificial fibers. The fabric is thin and very comfy, and despite this seems pretty durable. You will definitely feel when/if these get wet, as it's main function isn't transferring moisture off the skin. More like acting as a cooling garment if something. Excellent thin liner pants for wool trousers, if they otherwise itch and scratch.
These have almost elastic leg cuffs, an elastic waist, and a normal peehole on the front.
Size info
We got only one size, Medium Regular. However these are cut rather large; without tailoring the waistband in a bit, we would say the suitable waist circumference is about 86-90 cm / 34"-36". And you measure this at your navel, because these underpants aren't meant for showing that sweet ol' buttcrack.

These are NOS stuff from the US Army, totally unissued.
