A two-piece mess tin of the US Army. A compact and handy package. Used and WW2-stamped. Most 1945, some before.
Somewhat similar to the WW1 model, this design was finalized during the second and produced at least in the '80s. This fits just as well in the Meat can pouch of the Haversack as it does in an M61 buttpack.
Stainless steel with a folding handle. Dates vary, but all are made in the war years, most dated 1945. In used but serviceable condition.
