Back in the day the US Army made shell gloves called D3A. Essentially these are very simple, durable woodsman's utility gloves. These were designed to be used with woolen liner gloves when deemed necessary. Good strong leather, they don't make 'em like this anymore, or actually they do, but not for this price. One-off lot, unissued condition!
A pair of unlined, full leather work gloves with adjustments on the wrist. The single-layer construction also means these can be at least theoretically dried out if they get wet. The model stands time pretty well - we wouldn't be too surprised if they shot each other wearing gloves like this back in the Wild West. Originally used as heavy work and rappelling gloves, so you'll get some idea of the requirements these were made with.
Made of genuine leather, probably pigskin. Very thick, very strong. Treat it with grease now and then to keep the gloves in shape. The wristband is cotton and the buckle's made of metal, because why settle for anything else.
We got only two sizes, Small and Medium. Due to the nature of the gloves, these are cut pretty big, so if you weren't planning on wearing much else under them, get a size smaller than usual.
In unissued shape, just stored for some time. While these are sort of expensive for army surplus, their utility value and quality tip the scales off to the other end: we dare to say these are actually ridiculously cheap. Made in the USA and not made anymore.
Single lot, we will not get more.
