Use

Open the foodpack you wish to eat and flatten the bottom. Remove the oxygen absorber from the package, they don’t improve the flavor. Add the required amount of cold water into the foodpack and stir. Remove the fire pot lid, place the pot on a heatproof surface, and ignite the gel. The flame is almost invisible but very hot, so don’t poke it with your fingers.

Place the foodpack above the fire pot, so that it rests on a steady surface c. 5 cm (2") higher than the firepot. If you don’t have any suitable rack, two stones, cups, etc. will do.
Keep the foodpack above the fire until the liquid starts boiling, then remove it from the flame, seal the pack, and let the food rest for the time shown on the package. Cover the flame with the lid, do not blow!

Description

Fire pot is a bioethanol-based fire gel ideal for making a compact flame for heating up to ten Tactical Foodpack meals. The gel doesn’t create ash, smoke, or any fumes that smell like Death’s feet. The product is weatherproof and reusable as long as you have fire gel left!

Warning! Keep away from children and keep the container closed when not in use. In case of fire, use an extinguisher. If you get this stuff on your skin, rinse it with water. Don’t eat these, they ain’t good for you. Smearing this stuff in your eyes causes severe eye irritation. In case this happens, rinse carefully with water for several minutes. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.
