Could it be the first time ever when they made a very much like a military issue surplus blanket that's thick, woolen, large, and considering these, quite damn modestly priced. Well here's a reproduction of the Swiss army model with a red stripe and Swiss cross. These work as nice pointers when folding the blanket!
If we would be living in the late 19th century, this blanket would be something the outdoorsmen of the time coveted: thick but relatively porous, mostly wool and large in size - in other words, a good warm blanket. Although the days of the blanket in outdoors use have been long gone, this still works in warmer weather, or tucked in a hammock as insulation, or just as a regular blanket around the house. Just buy it, it's beautiful!
Made mostly of wool, but we have no hard data on this, could also have some synthetics mixed in. If you need to machine wash this, stay at the 30 degrees Celsius (86 F) range and drip dry. However, we do not recommend washing the blanket at all unless absolutely necessary. Just air out and give it a good ol' whackin' once in a while.
Factory new, these came to use from a German gear supplier. We suspect these aren't actual Swiss army issue blankets, but they are very nice quality nonetheless. As said, these are amazingly cheap for what they are, we are actually quite baffled by this ourselves. Anyway, get yours while these still are available!
