Sordin Supreme Slim ARC Helmet Adapter Kit.

Now available ARC Helmet Adapter Kit for the latest Sordin Supreme Slim hearing protectors! Compatible with e.g. Ops-Core and MSA rails.

Use this kit to attach your Sordin Supreme MIL Slim, MIL SFA Slim, and Supreme Pro-X Hear2 Slim hearing protectors to your ballistic helmet ARC rails.

The original Sordin Slim headband must be removed and this adapter kit put in place. Note: These are not compatible with older/other Supreme models – these are for the new 2023 version Slims, the ones with screw-on cup attachment.

Information

Attaching your ear defenders directly to your helmets is an easy way to increase comfort. The ARC adapters replace the standard headband and give you the option to easily lift the cups without having to remove your helmet, this is especially nice in prolonged wear as ear defenders tend to get rather sweaty.

Installation is very easy but be warned: If you have a model with the solid leather headband cover, this requires the destruction of said cover and will be done at your own mental and financial risk.

The package includes detailed instructions, but here in short:

  • Open (or cut) the cover and remove it from the headband and wiring
  • Unscrew the cups off from the headband attachment points
  • Screw on the ARC adapters
  • Attach the ARC adapters to your helmet rails

The connecting wiring should be placed somewhere where it won´t cause snagging; most commonly this is somewhere between the helmet shell and pads or liner. This is very much dependent on the type of helmet used – how to run the wiring will become clear once you get down to business.
