The 3-piece design allows the pads to be set up properly for users of all sizes, with one pad on the back and one on each side. The placement of the pads on you belt are totally up to you to decide, if desired you can even leave the back piece off. This allows for the pad set to be configured to fit all sizes of users properly.

Each pad piece has three flat 60 mm (2.4") wide belt loops, suitable for most thick and stiff 45-50 (1.75"-2") mm belts. Each belt loop has a D-ring for harness attachment, designed for the Savotta Valjas H-harness and EX-harness. The body side is made from rubberized friction fabric, which keeps the padded belt from sliding up and down and all around.

The row of PALS webbing on the lower edge of each pad allows you to tie your belt and pad pieces together with pouches, resulting in a very solid package. For the best effect, use a belt with PALS-channels, such as the Savotta Valjas Utility Belt or Combat Belt.
