Product description

Helsinki region has been put on temporary lockdown, so southern plague zombies aren’t coming to contaminate Lapland for a while. We commemorated this momentary independence of Lapland with this (yet unofficial) coat of arms.

Molon Labe” means “Come and take them”. The King of Sparta allegedly said this to the tyrant of Persia when he ordered Sparta to lay down their arms. Later on, this phrase has been used more widely as a symbol of defiance. Spartans are, after all, quite famous in this department.

Even when this crisis is over, there will be other crap coming from here or there but we will beat those, too. This wild man with a club and a gas mask can also be seen as the symbol of the northern “sisu” or spirit - against the trials and tribulations that the world throws at us. Improvise, adapt, and overcome.

Size 70 x 82 mm (2.75" x 3.23"). With hook backing to slap on your Velcro base.

Made in Finland

These are manufactured by patchmakers who manufacture insignia for the Finnish army, quality stuff!
