Marine Fighting Squadron 512 (VMF-512) was an aircraft carrier-based US Marine Corps fighter squadron during the last year of World War II. It supported combat operations during the Okinawa and the Battle of Balikpapan. They were deactivated on March 10, 1946, and remain inactive today.
