Model update 2023

This camouflage anorak has been redesigned. The updates include a new diagonal collar zipper, which enables the user to don the anorak while wearing a helmet, a new opaque material, and 2-way armpit ventilation zippers. The sizing is also revised: These anoraks used to be very, very generous in sizing – now they are merely very generous. The new sizes are 2 levels smaller, but this is still our roomiest garment. So you can put your gear and other layers under it just like before. However, if you used to have an anorak in size Small, you should now get a Large one for the same experience.

L7 - Camouflage Layer

The outermost layer of our clothing system offers added camouflage for those who need that extra effect without adding excessive thermal load and fatigue. The Camouflage Layer offers both visual, NIR and even some degree of thermal camouflage. Camouflage prints and visible accessories are 100% NIR-compliant.

I bought this anorak for hunting in the high desert close to where I live. It blends in well with the snow covered basalt rock that's there. I'm impressed with the quality. Very well made, no loose threads that I have to melt back with a lighter. Due to the slick nature of the fabric, backpack straps slide over it without twisting. When I first got it, to be honest, I thought the hood was useless for anything but a helmet covered head. When I put it on, the hood covered my face and I couldn't see anything. Then I discovered the third elastic draw cord with cord lock on the back of the hood. Nice surprise. I adjusted that and it pulled the hood out of my face perfectly and snugged it around my head. Very useful and well thought out design. <br /> Overall, the anorak is of good quality and well thought out. I just bought the pants to go with it. Oh yeah! The shipping with DHL was amazing. The package arrived on my front porch in Washington state in four days!
