Shorts for action-packed adventures

These shorts have been influenced by the design and functionality of Särmä Outdoor Pants, so they don’t just look good, they also work. These have stretchy fabric at the crotch, pockets, and backside. You can easily crouch down and raise your legs without a problem.

A high-quality YKK zipper on the fly plus two snap fasteners. Spacious side pockets plus cargo pockets on the front for e.g. a map. No back pockets. The waist is comfortably high at the back, so you can bend over as much as you want without revealing too much and getting mosquito bites on your behind. These come with belt loops for a max. 5 cm (2”) belt and a hook and loop adjustable elastic waist.

Size info

The measurements differ to some extent from Särmä Shorts. So, don’t buy them based on an old pair of those. Instead, check some key measurements in the charts below. Not that these are the actual measurements of the garment, not the recommended user measurements. The front rise is measured to the stretch fabric (crotch).

When guesstimating a suitable leg end girth, choosing a bit tight fit is unlikely to cause problems, as part of the circumference is elastic.

Materials

The primary material of these shorts is 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This combination makes it a tad stretchy and very comfortable. Polyester is made of recycled plastic bottles and cotton is organic. Secondary material: 4-way stretch 92/8 per cent polyester-elastane. Very breathable and comfortable.

Manufactured in China

It is possible to find quality in China as long as you do your research properly and don’t select the cheap sweatshops.
