Headover, or a toque, is one of those things that you can't live without once you have it. Our own model is better than the rest - it's made of Merino wool!

- 250 g/m2 / 7.4 oz/yd2: a bit thicker than your basic T-shirt fabric.
- 19.5 micron.
- Made in Lithuania (EU).
Unlike a regular scarf, the headover can be either worn on the neck or pulled up to cover the whole head granny style, or something in between.
Measures flat about 43 x 22 cm (17" x 8.5"), and yes, it does stretch. Weight about 50 grams (1.7 oz.), pack size about the size of your fist.

its what you expect. good temperature regulation (No sweaty neck, but nice and warm). Not as long as some of the pictures might indicate (Or my head is oversized)

Bought one of these for my wife, and the NVA version for myself, since I don't mind the roughness.
It's with good reason that this is double the price of the surplus version, it's of a much finer and softer material. Without being told it was wool, you might assume it was a cotton/acrylic blend.
