Use

Gear Aid Zipper Cleaner has a handy brush top that removes crap and gunk and shoves the cleaning stuff right between the zipper teeth. It leaves a clear, protective, and lubricating film to prevent corrosion. It also fights damage caused by saltwater, chlorine, and rust on nylon, metal, and plastic zippers. This stuff is non-toxic and contains no silicone or paraffin wax. Usable with all sorts of zippers but especially nice with those that are regularly exposed to mud, sand, and other nasty stuff.

Made by Gear Aid

For decades, the patching, sealing, cleaning, and protecting of equipment and clothing was done with anything that said McNett on it. The company is now called Gear Aid but the idea is the same. The possibility to fix and maintain your stuff is awesome for two reasons: it could save you from a hairy situation in the field, and resisting cheap single-use junk is a sound ideology. Buy good pieces of kit to begin with and keep them in working order with Gear Aid!

Does what it says on the tin, I've used it to lube up my jaakari xl sleeping bag compartment zipper, which was a chore to open and close, getting stuck every few cenitmeters and usually taking 2 hands to wrench open. After lubing it and working the zipper around 2-3 times it works perfectly, and stays that way. Also used it on some jacket and tent zippers, after dragging them through the mud during a fishing trip to test it, and it fixed up those nicely too. Not too expensive either, and lasts a good while, so a recommend from me.
