Hesco M210 Armor Plate, Special Rifle Threat, Stand Alone

The Hesco M210 is a thin and light stand-alone special rifle threat armor plate with a comfortable Swimmer Cut. It is ideally suited when mobility and concealability are more important than maximum ballistic protection. One plate in the package.

The M210 is essentially a cost-effective version of the U210: same protection level, just 1 mm thicker, and somewhat heavier to carry.

Special rifle threat protection

The M210 is neither a level III or IV plate but a so-called Special Rifle Threat Plate designed to protect against lighter rifle caliber rounds. It has been tested to stop several AR-15 and AKM light armor-penetrating rounds - which would punch through NIJ III plates - but not the M80 ball.

M210 has been tested and protects against the following rounds and hit counts. Special threat testing was conducted in accordance with NIJ Standard 0101.06 (modified).

Comfortable Swimmer Cut

M210 plates are Swimmer Cut, a shape designed for SOCOM. It allows better arm movement and weapon shouldering. These plates come in two sizes, the smaller of which (Small) is 2.5cm / 1" taller and wider compared to common small plates.
