Did you rip your hunting pants or your tent, or something else equally precious? Quickly fix tents, hammocks, hiking clothes, tarps, backpacks, mosquito nets, sleeping bags, etc. with this strong, weatherproof tape. Thanks to an ultra-aggressive adhesive, it won’t peel off when applied to technical fabrics. You can even use it as vinyl repair tape. Available in various colors/materials.
- Adheres to: nylon, polyester, fleece, vinyl, rubber, non-oiled leather, and Gore-Tex fabric
- Easy to apply, just peel and stick
- Color options: black, clear, and sage green
- Material: vinyl (black), PVC (clear), or ripstop nylon (sage green)
- Width x Length: 7.5 x 50 cm / 3” x 20"
- Won’t peel off even in the wash
Easy to use
No sewing skills or heat required; simply remove the backing, apply with pressure to the surface that needs mending, and leave to dry for 24 hours at room temperature. When you leave it to dry properly, the fabric tape is sealed with a waterproof coating and won’t peel off during a wash or a storm.
If you have a small hole in an inflatable mattress and need to fix it instantly, cut a 7 cm round circle of Tenacious Tape. Clean and dry the area that needs repairing. Thinly spread Seam Grip-WP (sold separately) to cover the hole plus 6 mm around the edges. Put the tape patch over the adhesive so that it extends at least 6 mm beyond the adhesive all around. Press firmly and the mattress is ready to use again. Remove the patch after 5 days, the adhesive will then have sealed the hole underneath it.
Made by Gear Aid
For decades, the patching, sealing, cleaning, and protecting of equipment and clothing was done with anything that said McNett on it. The company is now called Gear Aid but the idea is the same. The possibility to fix and maintain your stuff is awesome for two reasons: it could save you from a hairy situation in the field, and resisting cheap single-use junk is a sound ideology. Buy good pieces of kit to begin with and keep them in working order with Gear Aid!

Nyt löyty teippi, jokja on toistaiseksi pysynyt kiinni. Täyttä 5 tähteä en vielä anna kun en ole vielä tositoimissa käyttänyt, mutta liimautui kiinni jämäkän oloisesti.
