We managed to get hold of something really special. The current issue one-person tent of the US Army in Woodland camo! Soldiers of other armies can only dream of such luxury apartments. Really well made and completely unused. We got very few of these even though the demand is high, and we won't get more. So, you know what to do, right?

One-person tent

This compact individual tent comprises of two parts, the inner tent and the outer rain fly, which is coyote brown on the one side and woodland camo on the other.

Pitching the tent is very easy, just stick the aluminum poles in the holes and the thing pops up. In addition to the sleeping space, there's also a little porch for your boots and rucksack. Both parts can be used separately, too!

The tent is completely insect-proof thanks to the solid floor and very tight mesh. You can also zip up the nylon doors and these coupled with the rain fly make the tent "blacked out", so no light comes in or out. A very good feature in military use and in some sinful affairs that we know nothing about.

Jan-u-wine US army stuff

Yeah, these are authentic US Army tents made by Eureka! Expeditionary Systems in the USA. On top of everything, these were forgotten in a warehouse totally unused. We saved them from there for you!

One gripe: these have been packed for some time and can have a strong nylon odor. It will go away if you pitch the tent and let it air out a while.

The Eureka! TCOP is pretty big for such a small tent but it won't be for everyone. Things you might not like are:
• WEIGHT - Strip out all the bags and the tent, fly, poles and pegs still come to 3.1kg. In an era of ultra-light tents, that's very heavy. I think maybe the fly's blackout coating adds a lot of weight, yet this is also a great feature (see below).
• CLIPS & TABS - Seem a bit fragile to me, especially since the fabric is so thick and tough. I've only had it a few months, so maybe they're fine and they'll stand the test of time.
Things you will like are:
• VERY ROOMY FOR ONE - I'm 6' 7" (200cm) and I sleep comfortably in it, with plenty of space either side of me. Any freak taller than me would have to curl up a bit. The double vestibule design gives you insane amounts of storage.
• BLACKOUT FLY - Offers total blackout! This is great if you're lazy (no need to get up at dawn) but it also blocks heat, meaning you can lie in the tent on a hot afternoon to get relief from the sun. I've never had a tent that does that before!
• ROCK SOLID CONSTRUCTION - Seems a very bomb-proof build that'll last for years. The thick fly sheet and bathtub floor have already been tested and approved in an all-night rainstorm.

Hello all... this is NOT an ICS 2000 tent... the ICS 2000 tent only has one big door and one vestibule with a small door on that side to stow gear..... this is the TCOP tent.. It has two vestibules and two big doors.. both are the same size footprint, and height... both tents are interchangeable with the flys….
