Edge Tactical Urgent Fury Ballistic Glasses

Edge Tactical Urgent Fury ballistic safety glasses are a stylish and suitable choice for daily use and everything life throws at you, whether it's small rocks or shrapnel. The thin temples of the Urgent Fury glasses are compatible with helmets and hearing protection – and they lack traditional frames that might block your sight picture in some situations.

Thermoplastic rubber (TPR), or MEGOL, is a composite that becomes sticky when exposed to moisture (such as sweat). MEGOL details are strategically placed in the frames so they don’t slip around when you’re doing your thing. You’ll find these details on the nose pieces and/or temple tips of the frames.

Lens Options

G-15

Developed by the U.S. Air Force in the 1930s, this lens transmits green and yellow light (wavelengths more easily perceived by humans) for optimal color differentiation. This reduces eye strain and helps in detecting environmental details.

Light transmission: 15%

Clear

The classic choice for safety glasses. Clear and distortion-free lenses work best indoors or in low-light conditions.

Light transmission: 85%

Vapor Shield

Vapor Shield is a permanent anti-fog coating with impressive claims. Based on our own tests, there is some merit to these claims. In lab conditions, the lenses passed the following tests without fogging:

• Exposed to -42°C / -44°F for 15 minutes
• Moved from -42°C to 24°C / -44°F to 76°F
• Moved from 24°C to -42°C / 76°F to -44°F
• Exposed to 52°C / 125°F with 80 % relative humidity
