The Ebelt Shade is a light and slightly elastic belt with a cool and casual look. The buckle has no metal in it, so it won’t slow you down in a security check.

Pieniä epäilyksiä oli vyön suhteen, joten otin kokeiluun 4 päivän armeijaharrasteisiin. Vyö kuitenkin yllätti, joten Firmassa on varmaankin tutkittu asioita tätä valitessa. Nahkavyö painoi kupeet punaisiksi, mutta tämän jäljiltä iho on kuin vauvalla, vaikka vyö oli ankaran pitkiä aikoja käytössä ja yhtä tiukalla. Kesti vyöllä roikkuvia työkaluja ja solki on rimpulaisesta ensivaikutelmastaan huolimatta pitävä ja nopea operoida. Vyön lyhennys oli kangasvöiden tyyliin helppoa puuhaa.

En tiedä ostinko maanantaikappaleen, mutta toisella käyttökerralla, ilman sen äkäisempää voimankäyttöä, nytkähti housuja asetellessa solki-/kiinnikeosa irti vyöstä, eikä sitä vaikuta saavan kotikonstein enää takaisin.

Tämä on leveää nahkavyötä paljon kevyempi, mukavampi, nopeampi pukea ja säätää. Ei hierrä samalla lailla kuin jäykkä nahkavyö, kun on elastista kangasnauhaa. Soljen käyttö vaatii vähän opettelua ja ei ole niin varmatoiminen tai luja kuin messinkinen piikkisolki. Se on kanssa tehtaalla laitettu ihan vyön päähän kiinni ja mulla ainakin irtosi parin käyttökerran jälkeen. Vyön pää kannattaa vetää pari senttiä pidemmälle niin homma toimii paremmin. Pakkauksessa ei ole mitään käyttöohjeita miten mekanismi toimii, niin se vaati vähän kokeilua, leka voisi laittaa kuvalliset ohjeet tuotesivulle niin seuraavat säästyvät ihmettelyltä. Ei ole tietenkään yhtä komea kuin entinen intin nahkavyö.
