In the magical world of army surplus anything is possible. Here's a perfect example: an UNISSUED, proper-quality green wool scarf. Lekker!

No ifs, buts or unnoticeable asterisks; 100% wool, measures 140 x 30 cm (55" x 12"), with thickish weave - real proper scarves! They sure did trip on mushrooms again in the Netherlands, getting rid of gear like this. Get two in case you lose the other or accidentally give it to someone; these will not be available forever.

Material and care

It's so nice to type: 100% wool. Wash in 30 degrees Celsius in a gentle wool cycle if absolutely necessary - usually just airing the scarf out will suffice as basic maintenance.

A completely new wool scarf for a silly low price. Compared to the BW wool scarves I like these better, since they are unissued, so there is no chance you will get a lemon. Also like the green color a bit more and there are no lines or random letters on them. But in essence they seem more or less to be on par regarding the material quality.

No more, no less than what you'd expect. A new, unissued wool scarf at a pricepoint that's really hard to beat. It's rather short, which I prefer, but if you want a scarf that could double as a blanket, this is not it.

Great scarf for the price in a nice inconspicuous color. Goes well with any winter outfit. Very similar to the grey/blue BW scarves, which are also great, but those are 80% wool and 20% polyamid so I have a slight preference for this one. Comes from my homeland so by default it is of good quality.
