A very typical water bottle model - copied from the Americans, as are so many things. But hey, it works. And, being a Dutch issue, it's proper good stuff at an affordable price.
The set includes the water bottle (cap models vary), a metal cup with a folding handle, and a carrying pouch.
- Bottle volume: 8 dl / 27 fl oz.
- Cup volume: 6 dl / 20 fl oz.
Three pouch models
- With MOLLE straps on the back
- With US keepers (ALICE)
There's also a variation with a lidded pouch. These are not available with US keepers, just MOLLE-style.
Dutch Army Surplus
In used, but good serviceable condition. We recommend washing the bottle before use. These weren't used to make moonshine as far as we can tell, but you never know.

Very good condition. Cup is a very sturdy build. Canteen and cup are slightly smaller than USGI, but good practical size. Canteen needed a good cleaning, but that is to be expected. Nice bit of gear.

This is a very nice canteen and cup. It is so great that I use it in my normal day life now. Once again the Dutch has taken something from the US army and made everything about it slightly better (except possibly the size of the canteen, it is exactly 8dl which you either like or dislike).
I have several of these from different places. The one I got here was from 2016 so you might get a very current one that feels safe to drink out of!

but the canteen itself and the pouch are dirty as hell...lol
you need to clean it a little bit to make it shine again
for the pouches soak it with Sodium percarbonate and warm water, it will dissolve most of dirt and stains

TL;DR: For the price, you cannot go wrong. Be mindful that the pouch and bottle need a MANDATORY cleaning. When ordering this product, I recommend you buy a replacement lid (make sure it is compatible).
Long Version: As other users have indicated, the product is dirty and needs cleaning. Mine came with what appeared to be dirt/mould/cobwebs inside the steel cup. The seal in the lid is discoloured and has evidence of mould. The bottle itself had a foul smell, but after a thorough cleaning, both the lid/seal/and bottle have no smell.
The pouch is quite dirty, but that is to be expected. As is standard practice (for me), I soak all textiles in borax and boiling water; I then add it to a machine wash, and it is good as new. Overall I will definitely use the cup and pouch; the bottle will be a "boil-only" water source until I find a surefire disinfectant practice and a new lid and seal.
I cannot stress this enough, $18.99 CAD for a pouch, canteen, and cup is crazy good value. Though my bottle is not useable in its current state I am happy with my purchase.

Came in excellent condition, seems barely used. Was cleaner than some of my own canteen! (Which maybe says more about me than the product- I would recommend a good cleaning anyway). Pouch is a little scuffed inside but perfectly fine. The lidded pouch fits the Finnish canteen, Swiss canteen, or two 50 cl cans of beer. Cup is nice.
