This is the leather thing that comes with the Czechoslovakian canteen. Now you can get it separately, and put it on your own favorite water container. Fits various canteens. Works also as a spare part for those of you who have worn out your Czech canteen’s leather.

a lot better after some grease and gentle breaking in, but still rough.
the belt loop fits a 45mm czech service belt (jeez, wonder why)
it's a bit of a chore to work it over a usgi canteen, i'd suggest something a little smaller with a cap that's less chunky.

Kiva projekti. Oma sai kyllä semmosen käsittelyn ettei ihan joka tuotteelle viitteis antaa. Ensin nahkaöljyä, sitte nahkarasvaa ja kirsikaks kakun pääl viel nahkavahaa. Ei muuten nitise eikä natise enää :D
