Thermal poncho
In poncho format, CPS is an excellent garment for longer marches and hikes in winter or in harsh mountains. Keep it in your pack when you move, and take it out when you stop. It also works very well when sitting still while on a lookout or when hunting.
Sleeping bag
The CPS can be used as a summer sleeping bag or to give your current sleeping bag an extra boost during really cold winters. It comes with a detachable sleeping bag hood, which can be easily zipped on. The hood also features an integrated mosquito net, providing you effective protection against the small bloodsuckers during the mosquito season.
Integrated packing sack
The CPS has a convenient chest pocket that you can use for storing small items, and it also doubles as a simple packing sack. There is also a small pocket at the back that has a separate stuff sack for the detachable hood. If you don’t want to use CPS as a sleeping bag during your trip, you can leave the hood home.
Materials
The outer fabric is 100% polyamide, the insulation G-LOFT® 60 g, 100% polyester, and the inner fabric 100% polyamide.
G-LOFT insulation
The G-LOFT fiber combines the advantages of natural down with the ruggedness of synthetic fibers. Unlike down, G-LOFT doesn’t absorb dampness, and thus it guarantees high thermal efficiency even in wet conditions.
The unique hollow fiber technology imitates polar bear fur, giving the G-LOFT insulation an unrivaled heat-to-weight ratio. Air is trapped in countless small pockets providing optimal insulation in all directions. Thanks to the natural clustering, unique among synthetic fibers, G-LOFT is highly breathable, and it exhibits similar warmth retention characteristics to natural down, but in contrast to down, it is highly compressible. It also unfolds quickly when unpacked.
G-LOFT products can be machine-washed without performance loss. The fibers dry quickly and automatically return to their original warming and fluffy shape even after repeated washing and hard use. Due to the ease of maintenance, G-LOFT is especially suitable for allergy sufferers.

It is not waterproof, so for the case of rain you will need either a poncho or a tarp or bivy bag
