The reservoir compartment is fully insulated with 5 mm (0.2") closed cell foam, which helps keep water cool. A two-zipper fill cover provides top or bottom entry points in the reservoir compartment. The external fill allows for easy access to the Crux™reservoir for easy filling, cleaning, and ice addition. There are also grommet drain holes at the bottom of the main compartment to let out water that you might have spilled when filling the reservoir.

The quick-release shoulder straps unclip for easy removal and stow away inside the built-in pocket. The pack also has an adjustable sternum strap plus hook-and-loop strap management.

The pack comes with six D-ring points for attaching to any armor vest or a larger pack with MOLLE. There is also an integrated hook-and-loop strip for name tags or unit badges. Made from the 500D double-rip Cordura^® fabric for ultimate strength and durability.
