A timeless service shirt with a fold-down collar, chest pockets and button closure. These are the softest and most comfortable shirts of this style we've come across! Used German Bundeswehr issue.

Cheap, stylish and straight-up proper army shirt. The colour is greyish olive drab.

Machine wash at 60° C / 140° F. These sometimes have a warehouse smell, so it's best to wash it right away before using. The fabric doesn't wrinkle easily, so you won't need to iron these to look sharp.

Sizing

First the easy size, then chest circumference of the user. If you know special things or want to learn more, read on.

European dress shirt sizes are in centimetres, measured from the base of the neck. Below is a chart with actual measurements of the garment, such as width at the chest and back length laid flat. Do note that used clothes will have variance, but this should definitely help!

Used German surplus

In used but perfectly serviceable condition. The model is over 30 years old and the most recent ones were made around the year 2000, so there's variance in colour depending on the year of manufacture and also wear. Some shirts may still have the previous user's name tag attached.

Excellent shirt that kept me cool during the heat, and the bite out of the wind during the cold. Very sturdy, and definitely worth the money. Only issue would be the length of the arms, as it has been warned with German equipment that they may be a bit too short. Just keep that in mind when purchacing.

I purchased a size small and have no complaints. The shirt showed very minimal wear. No repairs, rips, or fraying. A very light, soft texture to the fabric makes me think that this will do nicely as a top layer over a t-shirt in warm weather, or even under a jacket as an extra layer in colder climates. The left breast pocket has a pen pocket inside with the corresponding hole through the top of the pocket flap. Jack T. warned in his review about the possibility of the arms being too short. I did not encounter this problem in the size I ordered.

This is pretty much the austrian service shirt.
Feels the same and almost looks the same. If you are a hardcore BW collector have at it but if you don't really care have a look at the austrian shirt for a third of the price before buying this One.

Käytin kolmea viheriää BW-paitaani kymmenen vuotta, mutta nyt piti työntää viimeinen remulootaan, kun kaulukset ja hihat alkoivat väkisin hipua sellaiseen kuntoon ettei enää ilennyt päälleen vetää mihinkään ihmisten ilmoille.
