Tactiblack full leather ankle boots made specifically for the German military. These are toned down Gore-Tex SWAT boots that are at home in urban warfare, covert operations, and the suburbs of Manchester. Used but clean and in quite a nice condition. When these are out, they are out. So, if you’re looking for cheap and good boots, don’t buy two pairs, get these quickly instead.
Hello sailor! Only small sizes left. We want to get rid of these. Buy. Thanks. It's a good deal.
Features
This model seems to be made specifically for military units and law enforcement agencies and they cannot be found in the regular selection. They aren’t made for fashion seasons but for proper use: they come with a Gore-Tex membrane, tough full leather construction, and speed lacing. The tread pattern isn’t ultra rough so these aren’t mountaineering boots but you can definitely take them on forest paths. Because we got boots from different batches here, the upper and the sole can differ a bit in appearance. The properties are otherwise the same though. The pics show you some of the variations.
Use
These boots aren’t over-the-top tactical in appearance, and you don’t have to rescue hostages in these if you don’t want to. They also work nicely in regular city use and also outside the cities. C31 is a damn practical general-purpose ankle boot for all seasons except hot. They feel nice when walking long distances or standing still for extended periods of time.
The full leather upper keeps the footwear water-resistant even if the membrane fails as long as you take care of them properly. These are tall enough to keep sleet, water, and mud away from your socks in regular situations. Irregular days require extraordinary boots. The blackity black look also blends in the office quite nicely.
Size info
Manufactured in UK sizes but we also added the approximate EU size. The US-size? Simple: UK-size +1, e.g. UK 8.5 is US 9.5.
Condition
Used Bundeswehr, i.e. German military surplus. Some very little used, some have walked more. The sole can be a bit worn and there can also be some other signs of use and warehouse dust. These are all perfectly serviceable though and will carry you for long distances. And they don’t smell of the previous user because they have gone through some kind of a purification rite. However, because these are surplus, we cannot give any guarantees on the condition of the Gore-Tex membrane because it is impossible to check.
