British Mesh Bag, Green, Surplus

Small mesh bags have a plethora of uses. This British army surplus bag is made of a durable nylon mesh and built to last for generations. Available in two sizes.

This long little mesh bag makes your life easier: there's always something you want to carry without enclosing it into an airtight bag. Apart from small pieces of laundry, you can use this to carry a small tarp or hammock - these often get at least a little moist in use, so a breathable bag makes sense.

The larger bag is just large enough for a DD Hammocks 3x3 Tarp and the Särmä Erakko 2.5x2.5 Tarp goes in rather easily. The packing style we used to try these was not any kind of neat folding, we just stuffed the tarp in.

You can also use the bigger bag to protect a large bottle of wine and various flasks such as the larger SIGG models, or the Swiss Volcano field stove, should you happen to own one. The smaller one fits a hiking towel, underwear or something like that.

Sizing

These come in two sizes. The bigger one is 36 x 18 cm (14" x 7"). The smaller one is 28 x 13 cm (11" x 5.1").

The drawcord is handy not only for closing the bag but hanging it as well.
