Berghaus MMPS Crusader IV 90+20 Rucksack

The latest generation of the legendary top-loading Crusader rucksack is here. An extremely durable pack made for demanding military use but also excellent for hiking and hunting. Lots of PALS attachment points, a hydration bladder compartment, and other practical features from the military world combined with the comfortable carrying system of the civilian packs.

Features

This MMPS Crusader IV 90+20 is the largest pack in the Berghaus Multi Mission Pack System. The Roman numeral refers to the latest 4th version. The Berghaus Crusader is a military rucksack with a product code in the NATO logistics system (NSN number) for each size. The shoulder straps have lots of adjustment options, and thanks to the Berghaus size system, you can easily find the backpack that is best suited for your size.

• External measurements: c. 88 x 57 x 33 cm (34.5" x 22.5" x 13")
• Capacity: Roughly 110 liters (6,713 cu in.)
• Weight: c. 3.33 kg / 7.3 lbs (size 3).
• The upper main compartment is covered by a large flap. The straps of the flap are looong, so you can overpack lots of stuff between the flap and the pack. On the outside, there is webbing where you can attach more stuff.
• Inside, there is a hydration bladder pouch
• An internal divider between the upper and lower compartments, which can be opened or closed with a drawcord.
• Lower main compartment, accessed by a zipper and secured by two compression straps.
• A small zippered pouch inside and a larger one outside the main flap, capacity c. 5 liters (305 cu in.). Furthermore, there is webbing on the outside where you can attach more gear.
• Zippered side pouches, capacity 10 liters (610 cu in.). They can be removed and merged together to form a daypack. The pouches have attachment points for more gear.
• Padded, adjustable shoulder straps and a chest strap with a quick-release buckle.
• Stiff, well-padded waist belt with a sturdy quick-release Bergbuckle.

Size info

We have these in three sizes. The numeric size doesn’t refer to the carrying capacity of the pack but the height of the user. In the chart below, you will see the recommended back length and height of the user for each size. This code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules, as people have different body proportions and personal preferences.
